Awesome Weekend

IMG_3849

Who are all these people?  You don’t know?  Well ok, I will tell you.  These people happen to be the 8 awesome people that I went to see SKILLET with on Friday night! (and myself.)  What’s better than seeing Skillet live??  Ok, I will tell you that too.  Seeing Skillet live….. FOR FREE!!!  And that is how I spent my Friday night in Oshkosh.  Can it get any better?  Yes, it can.  We were RIGHT UP FRONT at the bar.  The only things between us and the band were the gate, and the security guys.  I had such a great weekend :D  And I got to see my sister and her boyfriend!

Halloween!

So for Halloween weekend, my friends and I had lots of big plans :)  First on our list was dress up night at Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ) on Thursday night.

Here I am with a bunch of my girls- Rebecca (hunter dude), Kirsten (gangsta), Dayleen (mime), Bethany (cowgirl), Bry (rock star), Marlee (fairy), and Me (eskimo) <3  It was super fun to see what everyone was dressed up as.  One of my favorites was probably a girl on crutches who wore a Brett Favre jersey.

On Saturday we planned to go to a haunted house downtown and a haunted corn maze (isn’t the whole point of Halloween to scare yourself silly?) I was super excited because I have never been to a haunted corn maze before.  And wouldn’t you know it- they were both closed. WHAT?! On Halloween weekend??? Who closes haunted things on HALLOWEEN WEEKEND??!!  Lame.  So a few of my friends and I rented The Wolfman from Redbox and had a movie night in my room.  We still had a lot of fun :D

Update on the guys across the hall:  If they have their door open and we open our door, the close theirs.  Like I said, they are antisocial… but I am pretty sure it is just towards us.

A Weekend of Updates

I was originally going to stay in Stevens Point this weekend, since it was my first weekend back in college, but that ended up not happening.  Friday night I stayed in Point and had movie night with some of my friends, but Saturday morning I woke up to a text from my cousin asking if I was going to my Grandpa’s birthday picnic later that night.  I had no clue that he was even having a birthday picnic.  However, a lot of my friends went home this weekend, and my dad was up in Oshkosh bringing stuff to my sister that she forgot, so he swung by Point on the way back to pick me up and take me home.  And I had a really fun time :)

I also took a few pictures of the boats, because I thought it was a nice scene :)

The rest of my weekend was really fun, just hanging out with my parents and Brenna.  My mommy made all sorts of yummy food for me, including strawberry shortcake… YUM!

I got back to Point earlier this afternoon, and pretty much worked on homework all night.  Until eight o’ clock, when my friend Bry decided that a Girls Night would be fun :)
